hard work?

nyjbi said to me today when she came to my apartment, "did tanae tell you this week is my last week of working for this company?" and i kinda ignored her, then she said, "this job is kinda too hard for me.. well i don't know." there's NOTHING "hard" about this job at all. i could do it, if i weren't in a wheelchair most of the fuckin day. she doesn't even really vacuum my floor or mop my floors on a regular basis. she ONLY does those things when someone is coming to my apartment. kinda ridiculous because i'm not even that dirty of a person, so it's not like she'd have a lot of work to do IF she were to mop and vacuum my floors on a regular basis (which is PROBABLY why she gets away with NOT having to do those things on a regular basis LIKE SHE'S PAID TO DO). annoys the fuck outta me that she's paid to do more than she ACTUALLY does PLUS claims this job is "too hard".. hahaha right.
i forgot to mention that my birthday is on friday. i'm pretty sure that someone asked me if i have any plans and i just said, "nope." i'm not sure if my grandma was trying to make an excuse for her and the rest of my family's inability to celebrate my birthday or go outta their way to make my birthday "special" in any way this one year when she tried to explain to me that when a person gets older.. birthdays usually stop meaning so much to them and stop being so fun for people. i remember telling my cousin amanda that she said that about birthdays and christmas and my cousin amanda said,"what? that's not true. those days should still be special to people." and i'm pretty sure that the one of the only presents that i got from ANYONE last year was from my brother and that was $50 if i remember right. i think that my mom and her boyfriend may have got me a gift $25 mac card or something. the nearest mcdonald's isn't even within walking OR wheelchair-driving distance. so.. i think that i only EVER really got to use the card when some medical transportation van driver ACTUALLY brought me to mcdonald's when mcdonald's was donating to habitat for humanity and i wanted to make a point to go there for sure.
